Education in Abroad: Applications and Visa Activities

Those who wish to do higher education and research in abroad, should first understand the .education environment in that country. In every country academic year is followed in different ways. Applications, Semesters are conducted at different periods. Visa procedures are also being different. It is necessary to understand the basic knowledge about all these for those who would wish to study in abroad.

The education admission and visa procedures which are in the countries that Indian students mostly Prefer are compiled here.

United States

The applications will be distributed before 12 to 18 months for enrollment. Though you can apply till the end of February , fill the application right from August till October . In March or end of May the result will be published about your selection. In September-October the academic year will start.

Visa Procedure

Visa Procedure will begin at June and end at August. Fill the TS 160 Form which will be available in online. Take the Photo copy in 600*1200 Pixels and scan it within 240 KB in the JPG method. Print the barcode in the backside of the form. Pay the Visa amount in the recognized branch of HDFC.

Make sure of your meeting time in Visa office through VFS Website. You cannot confirm your meeting time without Barcode number, TS 160 Form, Bill for the amount paid in HDFC at all.

When you are going to visa office, take the passport , white background photo which is taken within last 6 months in 2*2 size along with the barcode, TS 160 Form, Bill for the amount paid. Have everything in hand. Visa will be sent through VFS or Courier. These details can be obtained from Nauku website.

England

The applications will be provided from October. Should apply within March. Students from abroad can apply till June. You can apply for the visa 3 months before the academic year starts. The classes will start in September., October.

Visa Procedure

Visas are provided in Tier-4-students method for those who wish to study in England. Students can apply through this method. Should apply through VAF-9 Form. The fees is 255 Pounds. After paying the education fees the visa letter provided by the university is very important one.

The applicant should submit the evidence of  required level of finance for living in England. 15 documents should be in hand for getting the visa. The application should be submitted directly in the related embassy. After enough of the documents is submitted, visa will be provided within maximum 2 weeks. When the visa providing authorities  think that there is  a personal investigation required , then you will be called for an interview.

Australia

The applications will be distributed right from May till February. Should apply within the end of October. Within November till January the selected list will be published. The Visa procedure period is from October till January. The classes will start in February. Some universities are having the habit of starting at the month of September.

Visa Procedure

The recognized letter for studying full time course in the related university after obtaining from CRIC OS , you can apply for visa. English is necessary to know the most.

Contact the Australian Embassy officers for knowing about getting visa and the required documents for that.

Canada

Applications will be distributed before 15 to 18 months of joining. Usually the classes will start at September. Visa activities will be till four weeks. Visa activities can be launched in the first week of july.

Students who would like to study vocational related courses prefer Canada. There is guarantee for immediate job oppurtunities is fixed in students mind. In this country where people density is less, job is available with fat salary. Here, business management, engineering, media, hospitality, computer science more number of  Indian students enroll in these fields.

Visa activities

Before applying for visa, the accepted certificate from the recognized university should be submitted. Enough documents for financial evidence is necessary. Visa fees of roughly 5,500 Rs and Operation cost of Rs. 700 is to be paid.

Student visa activities can be till 30 days. After preliminary procedures, medical fitness certificate must be submitted.

France

Classes will start at September. You can apply for visa 3 months before the academic year starts. The applications will be distributed in February/March months. Should apply within end of May month.

France welcomes the Indian  students who are interested in arts and design. France is a best place for doing higher studies in that department. Visa is extended for 6 months after finishing the course. At that time you can seek for job also there.

Visa Procedure

You can download the applications from France VFS website. Follow the instructions related to photograph carefully which is given there. Embassies are in Delhi, Pondicherry, Kolkata, Mumbai. Passport, Campus France Identity Number(Print out) , evidence for registered in educational institution, educational certificates, travel tickets or PNR no., Residence certificate, visa fees should be given.

The foreign students who are staying there for more than 3 months must get the special residence certificate for that.

Germany

Winter classes in October and summer classes will start in April. The applications for summer classes should be submitted before January 15^th and for winter classes it should be submitted before July 15^th.

It is better to start the application procedure for visa 3 months before the travel. Indian students will go to Germany mostly related to Engineering, Mathematics, Natural science, Social studies . Courses are offered in more than 300 internationally recognized fields. Students and professors are involving in research at the beginning of the studies. Still this country is being an expensive one , there are so many shops where used products will be selled out. Once when getting into the country, should register with the citizenship departmental officers.

Visa Procedure

The Recognized certificate obtained  from the university, previous educational certificates, the evidence for financial background showing the ability of managing one year expense should be submitted. Testing and certification of the entire body. Tests related to drug consumption are also included in this. The visa fee has been increased to Rs 4,000.
