Planning process in chronological order

October

GRE and TOEFL exam’s dates are to be planned. 6 weeks prior to your registration these all should be there accordingly your planning should be. Not before that. At the same time not after November end.

Start preparing for GRE Examination. It is enough to study 2 or 3 hours per day.

Research in online about foreign universities, departments and professors and shortlist it.

Carry on with the work related to Your statement of purpose and write a sample one. At the end of this month , each of the first draft is to be completed.

Ask the teacher or some other qualified person . Ensure that you have atleast 3 references.One of them should be a person from educational background. Provide your first draft to your references. Through which they will come to know your thoughts.

November

Finish off studying for GRE and start doing revision. Write the model exams and provide marks for that in a correct way.

Practice writing the analysis of test articles and plan its time.

Based on your research end up with the university for you. If the last date is in December for ending up the university , email your decision to your professor.

Reading again, returning back studying, troubleshooting the purpose of your statement and carry on with writing the sample.

In the starting days of November, collect the required transcripts from the educational institutions where you studied your bachelors and masters degree.

If you wish to send recommendation letters in the paper form , get the sealed recommendation letters.

Write the GRE and TOEFL exams. Write it very well. Donot worry about anything.

December and January

End up your purpose of report statement and write the sample.

Send your GRE and TOEFL marks to the universities which are not in the original list of four.

Start and complete your online application or download it and fill in the application.

Organize all aspects of your application, and e-mail them at the right time.

Your referral will surely get connection through email. Then only they will be able to email their letters. When filling up the university’s application in online the above mentioned thing is to be done.

Check whether your application is filled properly and ensure whether it is received fully by the related department.

January and February

Check your Emails often. Through this you can get the contact information from the educational institutions immediately .Added to this you will be able to know the call for the interview immediately . Some universities are alone conducting the interviews.

Ensure whether all the documents are received by contacting the educational institution where you would like to join. In some cases, scores may not be received from the college board and in some other cases the courier service people may not deliver your documents to the application handling persons. So it is your responsibility to have the right contact at the right time and ensure everything is done.

If  you wish you need sponsor  ensure whether you have sent all the related documents.

March and April

If you have got Important awards like Founders day award in your college days , inform that to the related foreign educational institution. The educational institution which you are selecting will maintain a separate file. All the details about you will be collected in that.

Decisions regarding admission and letters related to financial aid will reach you maximum in this month. Read everything carefully whichever  you receive. Because sometimes the  necessary functions may need to  be done from your side.

Take the final decision and email your joining application and also deposit the cash to the educational institution where you would wish to join. Finish all these before May month starts.

Once are invited to an institution , inform the other educational institutions through letter where you don’t want to join. Because that place may be offered to some other student.

End up deciding about accommodation

Start applying for student visa. It doesnot mean that if you get a seat in a foreign educational institution you can get the student visa. Countries like United states are considering all the student visa at an efficient migration stage. So you should prove your status at the interview time.

 Once the visa process is done, almost everything is completed. Prior to departure, the medical examination must be completed. Receive your paper work in an order. Send the final examination documents to the related college. Sign for the orientation. Thats it. You can start. Congratulations!
