How is Education in Russia for the Foreigners?

Everyone of us know that , In the Engineering and Medicine field, for completing the Bachelor’s degree, Russia is being an appropriate place for the Indian students. Currently, a total number of 10000 students are Indians from the 1,10000 students who are staying and studying in Russia from the 200 countries .,

We should not think that Russia is only for Medicine and Engineering courses. Russian Universities are providing courses in more than 500 departments .

Higher Education System

The Bachelor’s degree provided in Russia is for 4 years .At the same time, for getting degree in Engineering and Medicine field it will take 5.5 years. For getting Master’s degree it will take 2 years.

Popular Courses

General Medicine, Pediatrix, Vertinary Medicine and Pharmacy courses are popular. At the end of the course, Bachelor’s degree is provided in the name of Doctor of Medicine. At the same time, according to the nursing course, the degree is provided in the name of Medical nurse and Manager.

Apart from Medicinal courses, several courses are provided in several different departments like Economics, Management and Computer .

Admission Procedures

For joining in the Bachelor’s course of Medicine, in the school higher secondary classes, Physics, Chemistry and Biology department should have been taken and minimum 50% marks should have been obtained.

At the Same time, For joining in the Engineering and Anthropology departments , 40% marks is enough in the higher secondary classes.  For joining in the Bachelor’s degree, one should not exceed 27 years to the maximum.

Expenditure

Maximum of the Universities are Government aided. So the government itself is providing 50% of the course fee for the foreign students. For an Indian student ,  approximately the expenses are 3400 Euros for the education fee including accommodation per year. Other expenses will be from 50 till 150 Euros.
